When it came to the game two final question Thursday and the number of teams getting it correct? “There can be only one.” This sounds a lot better coming out of THAT guy (and you movie nerds will know which guy I’m talking about). I think actually two teams got it correct in our Sporcle Livegame Thursday at Original Gravity Brewing Co., but maybe Sporcle Live with Lauren can confirm! We were NOT that team, but the team who did get it, Where’s Trey, were very, very happy to have gotten it correct, judging from the sounds of their cheers, which could probably be heard all the way from Scotland (cough). OK, they weren’t THAT loud, but I couldn’t resist dropping another hint about what the question was about, lol…! Because of our ill-fated decision to wager “almost” full points on it, we only managed to finish in third for the night, but it was still an enjoyable night – with us winning a second place prize in game one, and us having FOUR ‘Pods showing up! I honestly can’t remember the last time we had four “regular” players show up for a game at this place! It was nice getting the “gang” together, even if it usually means one of the “gang” members tells another one to “f— off.” I said, “It’s not a ‘Pods trivia night if a player doesn’t tell another player to f— off.” Seriously, there is love underneath it all (really, there is)! It’s all part of our “pirate ship” vibe!” Yup! Thankfully nobody abandoned ship this time, which HAS happened during games before! It will be a different vibe with us next week, with a completely different player lineup. It’s all just a shameless grab for ratings (LOL). More about that later! I’ve parleyed quite enough, now it’s time for some game questions, (argh)!
