I’m using this cheesy picture of ABBA’s single “Thank You For the Music” to express my gratitude for having recently acquired 41 blog followers (welcome to my weird mind)! Yes, this makes total sense to me, lol…Because this is primarily a trivia blog, can you name Abba’s two highest charting singles on the Billboard Hot 100 charts (U.S.) – one peaked at #1, the other peaked at #3. I COULD just give you the answers, but what fun would THAT be? Oh, all right (twist my arm), here’s a link to help you out!
I now have 41 followers of this blog site! Thanks all of you who bother to come here, which I once described as being one of the most lonely sites on the Internet. As of today, I have had 3,546 total views of this blog site since January, compared to 3,432 total views in ALL of 2017!
Though this blog kind of started out as a “beer blog,” it has since evolved into a trivia blog and a place for me to post recaps of the different trivia games in which I play, along with my trivia team – Miskatonic University Fighting Cephalopods, which you can like/follow on Facebook here. Hey, I haven’t begged for new page “likers” in a long time (we’re now sitting at 608). Though you can read recaps of trivia games both on the Facebook page and on this blog site, blog followers/visitors get more “exclusive” content by coming here! So what do you get? More content in the trivia blogs, more trivia quizzes, trivia “study topic” blogs and more “behind the scenes” stuff than the Facebook crowd. You’ll also get more trivia team updates, candid commentary about my team, players, hosts, etc. So, by all means…keep coming here, and I’ll keep posting the blogs! And of course, I occasionally post blogs that aren’t trivia related, too (IKR)! As an added bonus, it’s much, much easier to look up old trivia recaps on the blog site than it is to do it on the Facebook page – which is the main reason I started posting them here in the first place.
I’ll be out playing a trivia game solo tonight while two of my teammates binge watch episodes of “Battlebots” at our house.

Battlebots has aired on multiple TV networks over the years. These days, it airs on the Discovery Channel, though it has also aired on ABC, SyFy, and a long time back, Comedy Central.
Sigh…a trivia captain’s work is never done! I’m trying to log the seven minimum games at this trivia spot (tonight will be visit #4). My normal trivia partner at this spot can’t come out to play here for a couple of weeks, so I’ll soldier on until then! I actually enjoy going out to games by myself every now and then – it’s a great way to test myself. I’ll have a recap of that game posted on Sunday, so be sure to tune in! And thanks again for reading!
