Hey readers. I won’t be posting any new blogs until next week, please be sure to have fun with my blog’s table of contents to look at the more than 1,000 blogs I’ve posted so far! Yes, WordPress has informed me that a while back, I posted my 1,000th blog! Wow, I guess I lost count. If I post anything new over the weekend, it might be a “photo” blog, if I happen to go to a place with working WiFi! I’ll be without electricity, running water and Internet access for a couple of days (which is actually much, much more wonderful than it sounds), though I will (hopefully) have working cellular service. Should be a great weekend! Of course Saturday afternoon I will be thinking of the trivia teams doing battle in the My Trivia Live finals (trivia is never really that far from my mind). My team didn’t qualify for the finals this time, but It didn’t turn out to be a very good weekend to get a decent team together anyway. Perfect storm of…imperfection!
This weekend, when I’m not doing some hiking and hanging out by camp fires, I’ll be doing a bit of something resembling this…

My friend Kim is always posting pictures of her bare feet on Facebook to show how much she is relaxing. This photo is kind of a parody of her “foot” photos, though I’ll never, ever post pictures of my bare feet (that would violate the Geneva Convention, lol). A pedicurist would have to pay me to NOT give me a pedicure (years of a standing all day job do not make for very pretty feet)! This photo taken at P.H. Hoeft State Park near Rogers City, MI.
If you’re studying for a trivia tournament, need a sleep aid or you’re just trying to sharpen your already mad trivia skills, I have lots of blogs on here that will help with that – just look for the category study topics! Some “topics” I’ve done include Nicholas Sparks films, AFI films, Pixar films (which I need to update because of the new Incredibles movie), film directors, Disney Animated Classics, Dreamworks films, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Grammy Awards, Olympics, and my most recent blog about the World Cup. Though I didn’t originally intend it to be a “study” blog, it does contain a list of all of the teams playing in the 2018 World Cup. So far my most viewed “study topic” blog is my state borders blog, which is tied for being my third-most viewed blog of all time at 74 views! My recent blog about which sports team the U.S. presidents would root for (based on the proximity of different pro sports stadiums from their birthplaces) has been getting some views, too! Lots of different knowledge areas are covered in this blog – presidential birth places, presidential alma maters, the names/locations of numerous sports teams and the sports venues, etc.
Well, that’s it for now! See you on the flip side…
