We’re two weeks into the Sporcle Live trivia season and have been doing…all right! We’re in third in the overall standings at the “Corner Brewery.” It’s never a dull moment playing here, and with as many decent  – and evenly matched – teams in the mix as there are playing here (talent wise, not size wise), when the “end game” happens at the venue tournaments? Anything can happen! We’re on a roll this week, we won $20 (two second places prizes) last Wednesday at “Corner,” and helped another team win $30 (two first place prizes) Thursday at Sticks. We got off to a rough start in our first game last week at Oscar’s Sports & Grill in Saline, MI. For now, we’ll attribute that to first game of the season jitters! Shaking off the cobwebs? Just a shitty game? We were mildly successful tonight- finished with one first place prize – and the Oscar’s owner bought us a pitcher of beer!! As for My Trivia Live, we finished second in the overall standings in our weekly games at The Wurst Bar last season, which was enough to get us a semifinal spot in a couple of weeks. We are taking a break from our Wurst games next season – and will focus on playing Mondays at Powell’s Pub and Wednesdays at “Corner.” And Saturdays at Oscar’s *weather permitting.* Change is good, right?
