Here’s the question set from our My Trivia Live game at The Wurst Bar. This will be a “just the questions, ma’am” recap, as I don’t have a lot of time before heading to work. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

phoenix

I love ANY excuse to use a photo of River Phoenix in a trivia recap! Here he is in “My Own Private Idaho.” Oh yeah, he also appeared in the film mentioned above.

Final Category – U.S. States
What state changed its capital from Guthrie to its current capital city name in 1910? Miss, no prizes. We picked a neighboring state that also has a city called Guthrie. D’oh! Who knew so many U.S cities were named for singer Woody Guthrie (lol)?

Guthrie, OK was NOT named for ’60s folk singer Arlo Guthrie, who was the son of legendary folk singer Woody Guthrie. But Arlo Guthrie DID write “Alice’s Restaurant,” which is a lengthy song about Thanksgiving, the draft, misdemeanors, etc.

We’ll see all y’all in the next recap sometime next week! Have a wonderful holiday weekend…Go Pods! And here’s a few photos from some goofing off during the game…
