This is how I feel about political conventions! And also awards shows…

I’ve already decided which old white guy I’m voting for in November. Have you?

Not exactly stellar choices with the 2020 roster of old white guys to choose from. It really is boiling down to which one I hate less – and that old white guy is (sigh) Joe Biden. I don’t think the other older white guy has made our country any greater than it was four years ago. Unless “greater” means number of COVID cases. Nope, I don’t want to rehire him! Though…that also conveniently falls under my “blue” party lines (which I departed from in 2016 for the first time since I was 18). At least his VP is smarter than Sarah Palin (how hard is that really),,, Anyone elae think Bristol Palin is Trig’s birth mother? I digress!

I’m not enthusiastic about Biden …but we’re pretty bound by a two party system in my country (USA, though y’all knew that), so it is usually “white guy A,” or white guy B” when people vote. Except 2008 and 2012 when we had a black guy (how exciting was that)?

Seriously, this whole “pick a side” mentality and all of the bickering that entails…I HATE POLITICS!
